Job Title: ABA/VB PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Location: Westchester             

Job Description: The Children's School has several collaborative inclusion classes located in community early childhood settings for preschool students with a disability.  We are seeking an ABA/VB Program Coordinator for the overall day-to-day management of our specialized preschool program for children on the autism spectrum. Overall responsibilities associated with this position include the direct support and consultation with the educational and clinical staff, developmental and behavioral support of students, and maintaining best practices in keeping with a ABA/VB-based framework.  Requires Master’s degree in Special Education or related field and direct experience working in an educational setting with young children with developmental disabilities, specifically preschoolers with autism spectrum disorder. NYS Certification for Special Education Teacher and BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) are required. Knowledge of principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (specifically that of Verbal Behavior).

Job Description: Function as a consumer instructor.  Assist in developing and implementing community based/in house consumer programming in accordance with their needs, preferences and desires as per their individuals Service & Habilitation Plan.  Provide services in accordance with all relevant regulations. Has the responsibility of transportation of consumers to and from program on an ongoing substitute basis. Requires H.S Diploma/GED and a valid NYS Driver’s License. Job Description: For assigned residences, oversee and supervise the delivery of residential services to individuals and ensures compliance to all pertinent regulations. This includes ensuring the provision of clinical and healthcare services to meet individuals’ needs as prescribed in the individual service plans and that opportunities for learning and choice are provided to residents ongoing. Requires a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education, and must be a QIDP with at least one-year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities. Job Title: COMMUNITY HABILITATION COUNSELOR PER DIEM

Location: Westchester County

Job Description: Work with a person with developmental disability in their home.  Provide individual with assistance in acquiring and maintaining life skills that enable the individual to be independent. Activities are based on valued outcomes in accordance with the individual’s service plan. Requires HS Diploma and a valid NYS Driver’s License.

Job Title: COMMUNITY HABILITATION SUPERVISOR

Job Description: Provide direct Community Habilitation services as well as supervise Community Habilitation staff. The Community Habilitation Supervisor will attend annual and semi-annual meetings, act as primary contact to families and fill-in for Community Habilitation staff as needed.  The supervisor will write Community Habilitation plans and track billing in Medisked to ensure proper billing standards are followed. This person will also provide training to staff for both annual and periodic in-service training. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services or related field and at least 1-year experience; or a HS Diploma with at least 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. A valid NYS driver’s license is required. Supervisory experience preferred. 

 

Job Title: JOB PLACEMENT SPECIALIST

Location: Hawthorne, Yonkers and Mount Kisco

Job Description: Act as a liaison and advocate for individuals with disabilities employed in the community. Develops a Habilitation Plan and is responsible to implement the valued outcomes of the plan. Maintain contact with employers, families and service coordinators regarding progress or issues at the work site. Services may include job skills, interpersonal skills, job advancement skills and job retention skills.  Requires a NYS valid Driver’s License and a H.S. diploma/GED. AA degree in Human Services or related field or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. One year experience with DD population, individuals with disabilities or related field is preferred.

Job Description: Arc of Westchester Article 16 Clinic seeks a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW on a contracted basis.  The position will conduct psychotherapy to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The successful candidate must hold and maintain a current NYS Clinical license. Must have knowledge and experience in the identification and treatment of mental health. Job Description: The position will support a caseload of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing services such as linkage and referral for benefits and services, advocacy, and monitoring of services and completion of the required corresponding documentation.  Flexibility in schedule is necessary. Job Description: Responsible for the prevocational needs of individuals or small groups of individuals with disabilities to include those in Prevocational and State Services.  Provide services in accordance with their needs, preferences and desires as per their Individual Service Plan (ISP) and Habilitation Plan.  Develops and writes Individualized Prevocational Plans.   Identifies maximum level of development for each individual and assist them in reaching desired level.  Maintains case records in compliance with Westchester Arc, OPWDD, and Medicaid regulations.  Writes all required reports and provides counseling to consumers  and their families.  Attends and participates in ISP meetings for assigned consumers. Requires HS diploma, a valid NYS Driver’s License, one (1) year experience working with DD population and basic computer 
skills including MS Office Word. AA Degree in Human Services or related field is preferred.

Job Title: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Location: Hawthorne

Job Description: Supervision of Accounts Receivable staff. Review, test and maintain all AR procedural manuals. Calculate rate changes; maintain rate change liability accounts. Prepare and maintain monthly bank/investment account reconciliations. P & L variance analysis.  Rate Sheet/Funding analysis. Account analysis/internal audit of AP and other accounts. Assist in the review of internal control compliance. Compile schedules requested for annual financial audit. Maintain the monthly budgets in the Advanced Budgeting management system. Job Title: SUPPORT BROKER

Job Description: The position will assist individuals with the person-centered planning process by facilitating the circle of support and completing individualized broker plans and budgets for services. The Support Broker may provide training and support to help the person gain skills and competencies needed to manage Self Directed Services. Candidate will be involved in the referral, intake, assignment and oversight of individuals requesting these services as well as the supervision of this program by various staff. The Support Broker will assist in providing services to more individuals and using innovative and creative strategies to enhance the program’s services. Requires an Associate’s Degree in a health or human services field, or a degree in nursing as a Registered Nurse; Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field preferred, or Masters in Health/Human Services field. A valid NYS Driver’s License, one-year experience working with ID/DD population or experience as a service coordinator or case manager, and one-year experience as a support broker are also required. Experience accessing HCBS Waiver is preferred. Should be able to establish and maintain effective working relations, function independently, and be a self-starter.

Assure maintenance of health and safety standards within facility including adequate staff coverage and physical plant and has the responsibility of transporting consumers to and from program on an ongoing substitute basis. Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in a related field, minimum one year experience with DD population and a valid NYS Driver’s License. Supervisory experience preferred.
