Teen-tailored support services
Ours is a life-long commitment with a family and we're always here to share our strength and experience all along the way. Key to our program philosophy is full inclusion and involvement in the community at large. To that end, we encourage families to participate with their local schools and to avail themselves of neighborhood resources. Our role is to serve as a guide to opportunities and activities, as well as provide support and counseling as needed.

Spending time away from a child isn’t easy for a parent, especially when he or she has developmental disabilities. Knowing your son or daughter is left with caring, dedicated professionals in a safe, friendly environment can be comforting.
We provide a wide variety of leisure and learning activities designed to help individuals with developmental disabilities learn social skills, enjoy and experience life in the community and transition from school to work.
Community and Crisis Services
Arc of Westchester's community services help individuals with developmental disabilities to meet some of their daily challenges.
Having a family member with disabilities can be stressful for all involved. We have a network that can offer support.
Arc of Westchester's Wellness Center, licensed by OPWDD (Office for People with Developmental Disabilities), focuses on helping individuals with developmental disabilities adapt to daily life.
Working with students school districts, job skills training in an educational setting.
